How do I qualify for services?
Services are provided for Adult Tenncare patients and low income adults with no dental insurance. You will need to submit an application, proof of income for EVERYONE in the family over the age of 18 and a photo ID.

Do I have to come to Smiles to get an application or turn one in?
No, there are several ways to get an application. Go to Smilesclinic.org or come by the office to get a paper copy. We only accept complete applications so be sure to include your proof of income, a copy of your photo ID, and a copy of your medical insurance card (if you have one) when you send it to us.

What if I do not have any income?
If you get food stamps you can bring the letter they give you as proof of your income or you can download the Declaration of Household Income form.

What Counties do you serve?
Anybody that is close enough to come to Smiles in South Pittsburg for an appointment and meets the requirements are welcome.

How much does it cost? Tenncare patients No Charge
Out of state patients $25.00 facility fee.
DENTURES/PARTIAL              $150.00 ARCH        CROWNS         $150.00 EACH DENTURE REPAIRS (LAB)              $100.00

What do I need to bring to my appointment?
You should have completed an application prior to getting an appointment so you do not need to bring anything. We encourage you to EAT something before your appointment as you will not want or need to eat for a little while after having teeth extracted.

What are your hours of operation:
We are open on Monday through Thursday from 8 am CST until 4 pm CST (12:00 - 12:30 for lunch) Applications which MUST be done before an appointment will be made. . Friday and Saturday hours are dependent upon a dentist availablity.

Do you give prescriptions for pain medicine?
No. Most pain is easily controlled by-over-the counter medication.

What if I am on blood thinner?
You will need a medical release from the doctor who prescribes it. DO NOT STOP TAKING IT UNLESS YOUR DOCTOR GIVES YOU WRITTEN PERMISSION!

What if I need antibiotics?
If you need antibiotics before your appointment you will need to get a prescription from your primary medical doctor. If the dentist says you need antibiotics during your appointment they will call in a prescription for you.

Do you sell my information?
NO. ALL information is private and confidential.
